Thanks for the reply. My car has the large relay for the turn signal and
the wires at the back of the car are white/purple and white/ brown. Can I
run a wire from the switch to the light in front of the relay?
Thanks
Rick

If you got the Moss one it gives you instructions on how to wire it in
without making any changes to a stock wiring harness.
I had to modify mine when I added turn signals, so here goes from memory...
If it's not the Moss one it's a pretty simple operation and you wire it into
the purple/green wire that runs from the switch to the driver side rear
light. Furthermore if you trace this wire back from the light you come to a
connection box, (looks like a rolled up piece of elec tape) where on one
side you have a purple/green wire running from the switch and on the other
you have two purple/greens one going to the driver's side and the other the
pass. On the side where the switch goes in there's an empty plug to plug
the third light in with a bullet connector. After that you just need to
find a ground.
Hope this helps?

I have a TD that has had the turn signals added. Where is the best place to
wire in the 3rd brake light? I got this as a Christmas gift and want to
wire this so it works only with the brake lights. I have added the relay as
per previous threads. Installing as per the instructions, it flashes with
which ever light it is added to. Can someone provide a wiring diagram to
add the wiring from the switch?
Thanks
