Hello list. I am to the point in my '53 TD resto where I need to install
the cowl mounted windscreen support brackets. The problem is that I have
a restored tub (professionally restored in 1964 and stored since) that
has no screw holes. Can anyone get a few measurements with or without
photos from their TD's to help me properly locate the screw holes. I
guess measurements could be made from the bottom edge of the cowl and
from the front or rear edge of the cowl. Any and all help and advice
appreciated.
I am also assuming the the best way to mark the holes is to have the
brackets attached to the windscreen and then to set the entire assembly
on the cowl for marking. Any corrections or better ideas?
