Tim, those axle/bearing keeper nuts with built in oil seal is a must to
prevent oil leakage but keep in mind that the seal rides on the axle shaft
itself
and these are not usually machined smooth enough for a seal (Bob's tapered
shafts are and these are the answer to broken shafts and the dreaded klunk).
So
if you keep your old axles, install a speedi sleeve to give the seals a smooth
surface to ride on......
