The VIN number is the car # and is stamped on the left front frame
extension, just under the fender flange that attaches to the frame. The
complete car # is on the first two lines of the maker's plate on the
front left of the tool box . The complete number is the numerical
portion and the marketing code found on the second line of the plate.
It is usually something like EXL or EXL/NA.
