Pete Thiel asked in reference to the 1970's:
>Were there reformulated fuels then too?<
Let's not forget where these cars come from fellow Listers. I just
looked up the average temperature in London, England:
JAN. 45
FEB. 45
MARCH 51
APRIL 55
MAY 62
JUNE 68
JULY 72
AUG. 72
SEPT. 66
OCT. 58
NOV. 51
DEC. 47
With average temperatures like that I doubt seriously that they had to
deal with a whole lot of vapor lock problems over there so they didn't
make engine cooling a priority. I feel it's more ambient temperature
related than it is "reformulated" fuel related.
