TD Lubrication - nipples

Listers - It is true that the only the left hand drive TD has a grease
nipple associated with the brake & clutch peddle. You can find that
information in the Workshop Manual on page P.5 item 6. under foot
Control Peddle Shaft states in part.... (left-handdrive models only.)

There is also a very handy foldout lube chart in that manual. It shows
all the lube points with the type of grease/oil needed to service each
point. Also see Section P Lubrication for more information.

Now my question - The steering box has a grease type nipple but
requires hypoy oil as its lubricant. The instructions in the same
manual states ...apply grease gun filled with oil!!... to this point.
Have you ever put hypoy oil into a grease gun? How does that work??
What do you do??
