Motorcycle fork oil is an acceptable (and cheaper) substitute. Any
motorcycle dealer will have it.

Just to be on the safe side, I thought I would ask. What is the fluid that
goes into the Armstrong shocks that are on my TD? The manual references
special shock fluid and I know that Moss sells some but is there some off
the shelf fluid I can purchase?
