Guys,
I've used several tractor batteries (3EE type) in my J2, but they only seem
to last a year or so (with the original 3 brush dynamo and cutout). I've
since gone over to a small group 26 12-volt battery and no problem in
several years. It's a tight squeeze front to back, but the right one will
fit.

Lat year I bought a 3EE-525 "automotive battery" from my local battery shop.
Size 19" x 4 1/4" x 8" high. Supposed to fit a forklift truck as well? Price
was $77.97 + taxes= $89.67 Cdn$ total. Fits right in the PA battery cradle.
18 months full warranty, 36 months pro-rated warranty.
