For those who don't know me, I restored T series professionally for 35+ years
until I
retired in 1996. While I had my shop, I dismantled over 50 TC/TD/TF. Those were
the
days when a complete running parts TD would cost $100 or less, and I would drag
one
home on a trailer and (when stopping for gas), the guy washing the windshield
would
ask if I also wanted his brother's which was sitting at home around the
corner.....
While practically all the TF stuff that was left has been vacuumed up, there's
some
TC stuff and a ton of TD parts left and I've been accused of having a "magic
barn"
I bought my J-2 in 1961 and just bought that PB 4 seater with 57,000 miles on
the
clock and 48 years of "sitting parked" dust on the tires.
Now, is anybody seriously interested in buying my nearly complete set of
Autocar from
@ 1928 to 1960? You'd probaly have to come and pick them up in California as
the
weight and volume would choke a horse! Some are bound and the rest are in
mag-file
boxes. That's about 40 x 52 magazines......Would make a GREAT club library
addition!!! Think of all the ads, the road tests, the accessories, the races!!!
Boy, I'm having fun again! Jarl
