Chris,

I have an original hood frame on my J2 but your measurement from the frame
to the prop' shaft tunnel doesn't mean much as that height is controlled by
the length of the straps that locate the two frame bows. I have no idea how
long those straps were originally but by changing them you can get many
different shapes for the hood.
