The board/Reps have been having an informal discussion concerning all
the types of Compact/Economy cars at a board meeting 2 months ago
because a person asked about a Nash Metropolitan. That's when the
Insight was mentioned. Looks like it's time to bring it up for a
direction. The Prod/GT/Mod Sports committee will get it first. A
recommendation normally comes after a rules question, but this time it
looks like a pro-active stance should be taken....I'm sure there will be
more to follow. J.D.
Organization ownership does come with challenges doesn't it
Some of these are definitely not in the spirit of a Grand Touring
Automobile

Subject: Re: GT Cars vs Smart?
JD.... I've got another competitor asking me a similiar question... his
is a
Fiat something... ( tiny little POS ) with 4 seats but the back seats
are
like a Healey.... so they aren't suitable for continued occupancy....
How do we decide what class this car would fall into? If your saying
"High
Speed Touring is X speed then I'm okay with that.. but since it doesn't
define it who gets to make the call what is High Speed Touring....
Currently in a couple of states that would be 55mph and this Fiat and
the
Insight would do that most the day long....
Help me out on this one cause I'm a little lost..
