As one who knew Mickey and worked for him at Lions Drag strip and helped a
little on the twin engines streamliner Mickey was given a bad time about
the rigid mounting on the car. Micks answer was as fast as he planed on
going the wheels wouldn't have a enough time to react to a pot hole as he
sped across it.

Anyone who knew Mickey was aware of his ideas that were far ahead of many.
Never one to quit, he would try and prove his theories. A inovator for sure,
hard headed and a hard person to work for and to keep up with for sure. But
a real hotrodder, For damn sure. Glad to have known him. His actions and
records prove it.
