Frictional losses

Since we have been having so much fun with the aero stuff... thought I'd share
some things I've heard...

Grib was talking about a prep process for gears that radically reduces
friction to the point Oil coolers aren't required on rear ends in some
cases..

Russ Meeks has some coatings...

Skip has some gear oil additives to reduce friction as well...

what are your guys thoughts on the subject...
