Just to put my newbie thoughts into this discussion...

The membership of the 200Mph club for me is a celebration of the effort
made by a racer to run a certain speed. As I currently run a roadcar
capable of 140mph with no mods at all, I would feel that 200MpH wouldn't
be the hardest of things to get to. The engine in a lighter more
streamlined body might go a long way with some mods. However good a car
like that might be to run, isn't a club like this meant to really honor
the guys that really stretched themselves to get to that mark? For me it
would be nice to belong to some club setting records, but I guess it
would feel much better knowing that you have really stretched yourself
to get in.

Like Keith said, be so pround that you ask your wife 39 times whether
she has noticed your new hat... Or until she shuts you up ;-)

Anyway, I would love to be a member of the 200MpH club, even if just
because I am pretty sure no other Dutch guy is... However, I guess I
probably wouldn't take an 'arrive and drive' scheme for it.

Just my 0.02 Eur.

Arne
