Where does one find the records listed that show what engine, type, cubic
inches, etc.?? Car type year etc listed???

Records can be found on the website, www.scta-bni.org.
Records are listed by engine class and body class only. While complete info on
each vehicle may be a desirable read for some, the job of assembling all this
info and publihing it is a daughting task. One would have to ask the
questions; how much to print and publish?, what would be the per issue price
to cover expenses?, when this type of publication has to be updated with
approx. 200 records each year why would anyone be interested in more than one
copy?, what would one do with a stack of these things? and most importantly -
how many can you sell each year?
Each year the SCTA-BNI asks for photos to put into the Bonneville program. You
would be amazed at the lack of interest shown by the competitors in having
their pride and joy shown to the public. To attempt to gather any info to fill
holes and make this a publication worthy of selling would be difficult to say
the least.
I think most LSR types are of the type like a friend of mine, he says ..."I'd
rather race 'em than talk about 'em"...
