Better combustion chamber. Shorter flame front travel and reduced
stagnate end gas areas.
The end gas areas are a primary source of combustion instability ( pre
ignition and detonation)
Very superior with gas. I don't know about fuel. (I now nothing about
using nitro and little about alcohol)
