Years ago an old welder that worked on a lot of farm equipment show me
something about getting rusted things apart. He had a bolt about 1 inch in
diameter with a nut rusted on for about 25 years that he was going to take
off. Now I had used heat before to loosen rusted bolts but what he did after
heating it red was to throw it in a bucket of water, when he took it out of
the water you could run the nut off by hand. True story!!! Larry Mac
