As good as traction is at Maxton it aint as good as the Drag Strip, and we don't run wide slicks either. So if second gear is what gets the job done than I would agree. Have done the same myself many times. But keep in mind ultimatly a 3-speed is going to be better than a 2-speed. As for the flywheel: A smaller diameter wheel/clutch will have the greastest effect on your ride. Other than that go for light weight. Wouldn't even consider the 60lb. unit.
