Gary and List,
Stapleton airport here in Denver was sold and being torn down for
development of housing community. Bandamire dragway wanted to purchase
it for NHRA events but was declined, also Pikes Peak raceway also wanted
to purchase and were declined. Both were told of noise issues is why
they were turned down.
