We have been so busy playing with possible cam and carb combination's I was
about to pull my hair out.... decided to take a weekend off....and do the
trailer....
Setting up the Nitrous Pumping station and air compressor so on and so
forth.... amazing the things you can learn just by using the things your
going to need on the salt.... and Acting like your on the salt rather then
using the shop's power.... seems the Generator isn't strong enough to run
the air compressor that powers the Nitrous pump. After a bit of
investigation I can see why..... seems the air compressor doesnt' have a
releif valve.... which downloads the air tank pressure and allows the unit
to start under a no load condition.... these things are cheap and
avalible.... but I would have never noticed the problem without using the
generator.... as the shop's power is adequate to overcome the load.....
That and just taking the time to set up and think about how I am going to do
all this.... using the fitting's that I am going to need and so on.... found
two little things that I don't currently own to make this new Nitrous system
work.
It's been a great learning drill.....
I have also been setting up the new checklist the last couple of day's and
when it's done I'll share it....
