Hi Scott, others can correct me if I'm wrong, but when I was at Speed
Week in '89 the heat was not intense, rather quite pleasant about 80
degrees, for the several days I was there. True, the sun is intense,
and the sunburn hazard is intense because the white salt throws it right
up. Effective sunscreen is essential. I recall there were some young
ladies walking about in bikinis, and I thought, hmmm, that's cute, but
what about the sunburn?
