Tow vehicle

Hi All,
As "Tow Vehicles" have been on the list lately, I'll ask this
question.
Has anyone used a 1990 Ford F-150, 5.8 engine, 4-speed Auto trans for
towing?
I would appreciate any pro/con comments on this engine/trans combo
used for towing.
Engine power for hills, trans problems towing, etc.
