Bill, I just dug out my original Audun literature to see what you are talking 
about. I have a real nice drawing of all the related parts in the head 
assembly, and can see what you are talking about. Can you use a stud that has 
enough thread to allow you to doubble nut it? If so get some hex stock and 
make a stepped dowm stud to hold the cover on. Bob in Connecticut......once
