RE: Exhaust exits

If you must have side exits, it at least makes sense to aim them to the
rear.  I noticed the nice '27 roadster photos recently circulating had the
exhaust 900 to the centerline, that would make a pretty wide exhaust plume
(any air disturbed equals drag).
