List,
New Ford's now recommend the following oil weight of 5w-20 in their pickups.
Our shop has recently has been installing performance exhaust on the new
pickups right off the lot. Yesterday we did a V-10 and 5.4L pickups. Just
something I noticed.
By the way there wasnt much to doing the exhaust. The new pickups already
come with a 3" exhaust complete, we just added a performance Muffler
(Ravin's or Vortech) which are a high flow muffler with the performance
sound with it, added a chrome tip to the end and makes for a new truck
already.
Note: After completing the V-10 exhaust made the system sound alot more
Japanese like. High toned like a bike. Installed same system on the V-8 5.4L
and sounded great. Nice deep tone with some rumble to it?
