Okay Ken.... Lets get this Right.... Jon is the fella that Favors round
Bottomed boys in Sailer Suits... and Glenn well..... We just don't check his
..... Wait a Min... I still gotta get a time slip....
in answer to your question.... of earlier here are my favorite combinations
for a D Motor...
2.94 stroke and a 4.whatever bore.... gets you out to 4.060.... at 304.5
cubes...
My 2.9 stroke 4.040 is a nice one too... just a bit small
but it again allows you to go out to 4.060 on a standard Block...
The Rodeck is a 4.125 bore with a 2.8 stroke... and yeah it's a 300 inch
motor also....But I can bore it if I want...
Heads.... Like I said yesterday.. these Cheap ole Dart 230's seem to be
Better then my old High Dollar Hogans... ( just like Dave told me they would
be... yeah I know.. I hate that Too.... but at least I admit when someone is
Right.... unlike Jon.... who is going to deny the sailer suit thing....
TRUST ME on this I know) Brad has been doing his home work on the Aluminum
Version of this Head.... and It sounds like a Better deal...
We made that 298 Cast Iron Motor run like Stink with a Ton of Nitrous...
sure is a shame you can't run some in the GT Class....( hey Dan... how come
they don't have a Fuel Class for GT and MS?)( yeah I am into Stirring the
Pot tonight)
Keith ( who is up for a Weedeater Discussion )
