Process is complicated by the fact that the chassis (w/fenders but no doors=
) is up on a rotisserie. We may have to lower it onto a wheeled platform =
on the floor, as it=E2=80=99s now far too high in the air to reach with jac=
ks=E2=80=A6.

Just did this not too long ago.=C2=A0 You need a floor jack, bottle jack an=
d a cargo strap.=C2=A0 Put the floor jack under the spring and axle and pla=
ce the floor jack under the spring with the u-bolt plate in place.=C2=A0 Wr=
ap the strap under the jack and over the axle and connect it to itself in a=
tight loop.=C2=A0 All you need to do then is to pump up the bottle jack an=
d it lifts the spring right up to the axle.=C2=A0 Make sure the plate is po=
sitioned correctly so the peg on the bottom of the spring goes into the hol=
e in the u-bolt plate.=C2=A0 Also remember to position the strap so it is n=
ot in the way when you put the u-bolts in place.=C2=A0 Easy peasy.=C2=A0 Se=
e attached photos.
