Mine fit fine too, after a few installation tricks.

Subject: [Healeys] BT7 Mk II Door Shut Finisher - Adjustment?
Everything was going very smoothly installing the new Bristleflex door seals
and lower aluminum trim set. Too smoothly.
A trial fit of the door shut finish set revealed the protrusion on the top
is misaligned. Anyone experienced this before?
(The dotted line suggests what I'm thinking about)
