There is a soul proprietor old time radiator shop here in York, PA who
restores and seals gas tanks as well as radiators.? A friend of mine has
had many gas tanks done by him for old Volvos. The shop is called West
York Radiator, which you can find contact information for on the
internet.? It's on West KIng St.? The shop is not affiliated with anyone
else, and because his services are no longer needed with modern cars, he
could decide to retire as soon as he is able.? My opinion is that we
should support businesses like this to keep them open as long as possible.
His prices are also quite reasonable, actually downright cheap. Another
friend of mine had his MGB GT radiator rodded out, which cost him $20.
If you want another, more informed opinion of the shop and owner, I can
check with my friend to see if he will entertain questions about the shop.
