Which is a third method used by many established mechanics and a not
unreasonable compromise for a well-used engine. BUT, keep in mind that the
fill-and-start procedures should NOT be used on a newly rebuilt engine, which
would
NOT have any oil residue in the upper part of the engine, or protective
materials impregnated in the surface of the metal.
