I'm thinking that it must have happened for Jan.1, 1970.  I have a 1970 
Volvo 1800 that does have dual circuit brakes, but Volvo would sometimes 
do things before it was mandated.  I'll have to check the manufaturer's 
plates on both the Jag and the Volvo to see if they say when each car 
was actually built.
