I've used distilled water exclusively since 1956 when I got my first car
while in high school and can not remember ever having a radiator problem due
to scaling, etc. Of course, sometimes I can not remember in the afternoon
what I had for breakfast in the morning but that is another story.

They sell a lot of shower cleaners to get rid of the sediment which is still
very hard to remove from the floors and walls. Same crap in the engines. I
vote for distilled water.
