PB Blaster, Kroil or soak in carb cleaner. Let it soak and it will come
loose all on its own.

Subject: [Healeys] Stuck Float

I'm doing a ground up restoration on a 1959 BN7. Have a problem w/ a
carb
float that is stuck in the down position. This car must have sat for
many
years. There is evidence of water in many places in the carbs. Can
someone
suggest how to get this float loose? I am thinking of drilling 2 holes
and
jamming a needle nose pliers into the holes and trying to twist it
loose.
