Probably need a bit more information... He had a Mechanical pump, now
has electric? Is the electric pump mounted in the engine bay or near
the rear axle? Fuel filter? Where? Blocked?
Mounting a 'push' pump in the engine bay (which should be a 'pull'
pump) a pull pump at the rear of the car, or having a blocked /
internally collapsed online fuel filter will give the same issues
