Eric,
Really, I stand corrected. That's great news. Guess I know what to put on
the Xmas list then!
Cheers,
Chris

Chris,
the 123ignition system has always supplied a signal for the tach. It is the
same signal the original Lucas distributor delivers. The Lucas dis generates
it by opening and closing the contact breakers while the 123 generates it by
opening and closing the electric circuit "electronically". We have a lot of
BJ8s running in Europe with the 123 and their original tach.
Best regards

Hi Eric,
I have been intrigued by these 123 distributors since I first read about
them. Now that they are available in positive ground, the only thing
keeping me from buying one is the tach hook up. Do they now supply a signal
that the original Smiths tachometer can use? If not, what can be done to
keep the original tach?
Thanks,
Chris
