Michael -
With a dual circuit, if you are bleeding one of the circuits only, you will
not be able to depress the brake pedal because the other independent circuit
will still be holding pedal pressure. Dual circuit systems have two
independent hydraulic systems and brake masters (typically one for front and
one for back brakes) connected by a cross bar (or lever) to the single
brake pedal.
