FWIW, I live in deer infested western Pa--in the country.  Any time I drive
one of my LBC's on the back roads at night it is at a very slow speed. 
I've banged up three of my regular vehicles on them and they do lots of
damage.  Deer are probably the most stupid of all animals.  They look at
this mass of steel coming right at them and then decide to run right out in
front of it .
