Day one, 4am - Morgan Hill CA, Must have coffee. Just woke-up and made
coffee. As my eyes open I am thinking of the day ahead. Get over the
Golden Gate Bridge before rush hour begins. Maybe cross at sunrise if the
timing is right. The car is packed full on with spares, water and wine. My
goal today is to make Crescent City via the coastal route. Temperatures
today are supposed to get to 104 degrees on the inland route; I am hoping to
have 70s and worst case 80s along the coast. I'll stick to the coast. OK I
am off. I'll try and take pics and send updates each day.
