Once rusted on they are pretty much stuck, I have never been able to turn a nipple on an old wire wheel despite applying all sorts of brute force, heat and penetrating oil, at which point the spoke and or nipple are ruined anyway. If there are only a few bad ones you can cut them off and replace with new (have to have the tire removed). If a lot then I would send to an expert or get a new wheel. Greg Lemon 54 BN1 |
