I have a BN4 convertible top frame (with the bent legs, which share the small,
forward mounting holes on the car with the locating pins for the factory
hardtop).
What I need, is the correct straight legged convertible top frame for the BT7.
(That mounts in the rearward holes in the car, shared by the tonneau bar).
The BN4 top frame that I have is in excellent condition, (was bead blasted,
primered, sanded, and finished in the appropriate dove gray) -It's ready to
go.
What I would like to do is to work out a trade for the correct BT7 top frame.
-As long as the BT7 top frame is complete, and needs cleaning and repainting,
I would consider that a good trade.
Barring that, I would be interested in selling the BN4 top frame, and hearing
from anyone who has a BT7 top frame to sell.
I am also interested in any opinions as to the relative value or scarcity of
the two different frames, for as far as I know, they should be roughly
equivalent in value. -But then, I've been wrong before.
