You know, after you have done several you think you have things sorted to
some degree but then along comes the electrical gremlins and total exasperation.
I just rewired an early model BJ8 (64) and can't get the turn signals to hook
up correctly. I have gone back over the wiring several times checking to
make sure colors are correct etc. Everything looks good until I get to the
wires
coming out of the main harness and the ones coming out of the new
trafficator. No matches. I have the brown with black from the trafficator
going to the
purple with black from the harness. That is the horn. From there it is
straight down hill. From the trafficator I have a green with white stripe and
a
green with red stripe. I am assuming they just plug directly into their
corresponding counterparts on each turn signal. That leaves me with a green
with
brown coming out of the trafficator and 3 wires from the harness. A green wire
(Hot), a green with yellow and a green with blue. No matches. What am I
missing here??

Ps...I can hear noises from the flasher box when wires are hooked up a
certain way but no flashing and I can get the indicator to light up but it
seems far
too bright.
