Friends,
I have terrible problems trying to fit new rear brake cylinders to my
BJ8 rear axle brake plates.
I understand the construction where the cylinder can slide in its
rectangular opening in the brake plate and is held in its position by
two U-shaped locking plates, but I can't get one of the two plates in
position as the hand brake lever is in the way. Also the flimsy rubber
dust cover does not help.
Please tell me what the trick is to get both locking plates in position.
Thanks in advance.
