-Just got the October issue of Automobile Magazine. where they listed their
subjective list of the 100 coolest cars...
The good news is that one of the big Healeys did make the list: The 100M
The bad news is that it was 98th! Some grievous choices placed higher were:
Subaru WRX
Chrysler 300C Hemi
New Mini Cooper
'69 Chevelle SS 396
Mazda Miata!
Fiat 500
Renault R5 Turbo
Jeep CJ
I could go on.... But why bother... There were a lot of VERY cool cars on
the list, but their choice of the 1963-1967 Corvette Singray as #1 kinda
wrecked their credibility anyway...
Two different XKEs made it, but otherwise, no other classic LBCs.
There's no accounting for taste....
