I had asked a while back about my tach reading way high. Through the answers I got, I used Jim Werner's healey pages and the short fix on there. http://hometown.aol.com/bgahc/01_jwha_tachreadshigh.html The capacitor inside must have been shot, because the new one from Radio Shack has fixed it. I drilled the hole in back and calibrated it as described and it now reads the same as my analyzer tach readings in various rpm ranges up to 4000 or so. Mission accompished.
