Wow, and I was expecting the usual "just stick it in the
console and put a block of foam on it to hold it down" or
"silver tape" answers!
It seems you Corvette types (at least the C5 variety) prefer
to *engineer* a solution! Sounds great though probably a
bit of overkill.
Remember the basics are just to be sure that it won't move
while you are recording, is pointing straight ahead, and uh,
well, that's about it. Beyond that, there are lots of ways
to make it prettier or slicker, and I guess you are only
limited by your imagination (or budget). Has anyone
machined a nice piece of billet aluminum for their G-Cube
yet? Must be someone out there, and most likely a C5
owner... ;-)
