I=92m a big fan of a pre-lube tank. Fill it with the desired oil, unscrew =
a plug somewhere on the block - typically where there=92s one that allowed =
the oil passage to a main bearing to be drilled, connect the hose, pressuri=
ze the tank with air, and it pumps oil through your whole system. No need =
to pull the distributor.
Not. the cheapest, but I=92ve used one for years, and it gets used every ti=
me I start up an engine for the first time after significant work or if the=
accusump has been empty for a while and I can=92t use that for pre-lube.

There are others, some cheaper, some more expensive. one thing to look for=
is one that it is easy to dump oil into. I have a cheap one - not like th=
is, have to use a funnel, kind of a pain.
