Erik,

I can=E2=80=99t speak to all the various vintage racing group rules but SCCA=
banned wire wheels in road racing in the 1960=E2=80=99s.=20

Most vintage groups use the 1972 SCCA GCR as their guiding rule set.=20

On a personal note, I don=E2=80=99t think I would put wire wheels on the tra=
ck whether or not they are permitted.

sters is a recipe for trouble. None of the front running TRs that I know of=
are running wire wheels. There are very good reasons for this.
