We've found it necessary to run synthetic gear oil in the endurance TR6. We
run 8 and 7 hour races in ChampCar and the gear oil takes a beating.  I was
a 100% conventional GL4 believer until we melted the poly diff bushings.
Synthetic gear oil solved that problem.
