Windshield
Polycarbonate is so soft that the wipers will soon make seeing through it i=
mpossible. That=E2=80=99s why it=E2=80=99s is unsuitable for a windscr=
een, and toughened or laminated glass is used. There is no way to preven=
t road dust getting onto the screen, where the wipers will use it as an abr=
asive. You might be able to use a water dispersant on the PolyC, and avoid=
the use of wipers, but constant application will be needed!
On the surround, consider fitting it to the screen to stretch it first. =
Then fit the screen/surround to the frame, using the same cord technique, =
or just take the screen out and proceed as usual.
