If you're using a stock thickness disc, and the PP is to spec, you should =
be fine.If you use a thicker disc, the PP has to be shimmed accordingly, be=
cause the geometry is changed and the over-center/release point will be off=
.HTH

Subject: [Fot] laycock clutch question
Hey Friends
just installed a new to me (rebuilt) laycock PP and a new clutch disc. As I=
tightened the PP the fingers ended up pretty much flat across, no longer p=
eaked. So when the hydraulics is engaged the throw out will press the clutc=
h fingers deflecting inward (invert from when on the bench). Makes me uncom=
fortable / doesn't seem right.=C2=A0
Normal / Correct?=C2=A0
am hoping to put the trans back in tomorrow afternoon, comments please
ThanksBrian
